Zun\u00e4chst findet man <strong>Anagni<\/strong> mit seinem bemerkenswerten religi\u00f6sen Komplex. In Montecassino wurde die gro\u00dfe <strong>Abtei Montecassino<\/strong> im 6. Jahrhundert von Benedikt von Nursia gegr\u00fcndet und war Schauplatz einer bedeutenden Schlacht im Zweiten Weltkrieg. Daneben erinnert der polnische Friedhof an die bedeutende Schlacht des Zweiten Weltkriegs, als die Bombardierungen die Abtei, in der sich die Deutschen verschanzt hatten, zerst\u00f6rten. Am Rande der Stadt entdeckt man die interessanten \u00dcberreste der r\u00f6mischen Stadt Cassino.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Naturpark der Simbruini-Berge<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Im Nordwesten teilt sich die Provinz einen Teil des <strong>Naturparks der Simbruini-Berge<\/strong> mit der Provinz Rom, wo die Gipfel \u00fcber 2000 Meter hoch sind, darunter zwei kleine Skistationen. Auf dem Weg zu den P\u00e4ssen, an einem abgelegenen Ort inmitten von Gr\u00fcn, befindet sich die <strong>Kartause Trisulti<\/strong>, eine Oase der Ruhe mit ihren sch\u00f6nen Steinen und G\u00e4rten.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Die Ciociaria: D\u00f6rfer und Kulturerbe<\/h3>\n<p>Die traditionelle Region Ciociaria ist reich an weiteren bemerkenswerten Orten, von Westen nach Osten:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Ferentino<\/strong> ist ein malerisches Dorf r\u00f6mischen Ursprungs.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Alatri<\/strong> ist ebenfalls ein h\u00fcbsches Dorf, vor allem mit einer beeindruckenden Akropolis, die von bemerkenswerten kyklopischen Mauern gesch\u00fctzt wird.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Veroli<\/strong> hat ein gro\u00dfes historisches Zentrum mittelalterlichen Ursprungs.<\/li>\n<li>In der N\u00e4he von Veroli ist die <strong>Abtei Casamari<\/strong> ein sehr sch\u00f6nes Geb\u00e4ude, das im 11. Jahrhundert von den Zisterziensern gegr\u00fcndet wurde.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sora<\/strong> ist die Hauptstadt der Ciociaria in den H\u00f6hen, nahe dem malerischen <strong>Posta-Fibreno-See<\/strong> und <strong>Isola del Liri<\/strong>, bekannt f\u00fcr den sch\u00f6nen Wasserfall im Stadtzentrum.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Arpino<\/strong> hat seine alte Akropolis bewahrt, die von einigen sch\u00f6nen kyklopischen Mauern umgeben ist, sowie ein charmantes historisches Zentrum, in dem sich antike \u00dcberreste kreuzen.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Alvito<\/strong> mit seiner herrlichen Aussicht ist ein malerisches Dorf, wo die Gassen den H\u00fcgel hinauf zum alten Schloss f\u00fchren.<\/li>\n<li>In der Umgebung entdeckt man h\u00fcbsche Bergd\u00f6rfer und Schl\u00f6sser: <strong>Schloss Vicalvi<\/strong>, das Dorf an den Ausl\u00e4ufern der Apenninen <strong>San Donato Val di Comino<\/strong>, die Stadt <strong>Atina<\/strong>, das <strong>Schloss Roccasecca<\/strong>, die mittelalterliche Stadt <strong>Boville Ernica<\/strong> oder das stimmungsvolle <strong>Monte San Giovanni Campano<\/strong> mit seinem sch\u00f6nen herzoglichen Schloss.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<figure
