Zu den Museen mit antiken Kunstwerken und arch\u00e4ologischen Artefakten geh\u00f6ren die <strong>Kapitolinischen Museen<\/strong>, die <strong>Vatikanischen Museen<\/strong> sowie in geringerem Ma\u00dfe die <strong>Galleria Borghese<\/strong>.<br>Eine Reihe weiterer Museen ist haupts\u00e4chlich der Antike und der Arch\u00e4ologie gewidmet, allen voran das <strong>Nationalmuseum von Antike stehen im Mittelpunkt der <strong>Kapitolinischen Museen<\/strong>, die sich in den Pal\u00e4sten auf dem Kapitolsh\u00fcgel befinden und deren unterirdische G\u00e4nge zum antiken Tabularium f\u00fchren, das das Forum \u00fcberragt, sowie zu \u00dcberresten des Jupiter-Tempels auf dem Kapitol. Man entdeckt zum Beispiel B\u00fcsten von Philosophen und r\u00f6mischen Kaisern, ber\u00fchmte Statuen wie die des <em>Sterbenden Galaters<\/em>, der <em>Venus vom Kapitol<\/em>, des <em>Marforio<\/em>, Bronzen wie die <em>Kapitolinische W\u00f6lfin<\/em>, der <em>Dornzieher<\/em>, der <em>Brutus vom Kapitol<\/em> und die Reiterstatue des Marc Aurel.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a id=\"museesduvatican\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bestofrome.fr\/de\/site\/vatikanische-museen\/\">Vatikanische Museen<\/a><\/strong><br>Das <strong>Museum Pio-Cristiano<\/strong> bewahrt Statuen, Sarkophage, Mosaiken und Artefakte aus dem 2. bis 6. Jahrhundert n. Chr. auf, insbesondere aus der fr\u00fchchristlichen Zeit und aus den r\u00f6mischen Katakomben.<br>Das <strong>Gregoriano Profano Museum<\/strong> sammelt griechische und r\u00f6mische Werke aus dem 1. bis 3. Jahrhundert n. Chr., urspr\u00fcnglich zur Aufbewahrung von \u00dcbersch\u00fcssen des Museums nach Ausgrabungen in Rom, Ostia, Veio und Cerveteri.<br>Das <strong>Museum Pio-Clementino<\/strong> wurde entwickelt, um griechische und r\u00f6mische Meisterwerke aufzunehmen, darunter die sch\u00f6nsten Statuen.<br>Das <strong>Museum Chiaramonti<\/strong> umfasst fast tausend Skulpturen, haupts\u00e4chlich r\u00f6mische B\u00fcsten und Statuen.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a id=\"galerieborghese\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bestofrome.fr\/de\/site\/galleria-borghese\/\">Galerie Borghese<\/a><\/strong><br>Arch\u00e4ologie ist nicht der Kern des Museums, aber die zahlreichen erhaltenen antiken Werke geh\u00f6ren zu den sch\u00f6nsten, wie klassische und hellenistische Skulpturen, darunter ein <em>Hermaphrodit<\/em>, ein kolossaler Satyr oder ein ber\u00fchmtes Gladiatorenmosaik, r\u00f6mische Statuen mit einer kolossalen Dionysos-Statue oder einem Portr\u00e4t Alexanders sowie etruskische Kunst.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a id=\"museenationalromain\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bestofrome.fr\/de\/site\/museo-nazionale-romano\/\">Nationales R\u00f6misches Museum<\/a><\/strong><br>Dieses Museum, das auf vier Standorte verteilt ist, beherbergt die weltweit gr\u00f6\u00dfte arch\u00e4ologische Sammlung, die der r\u00f6mischen Welt gewidmet ist. <br>Der <strong>Palazzo Massimo alle Terme<\/strong> bewahrt Fresken aus r\u00f6mischen Villen, wie die der <em>Haus der Livia<\/em>, oder pr\u00e4chtige Skulpturen und Statuen wie einen <em>Diskobolos<\/em> oder einen <em>Hermaphroditen<\/em>, Sarkophage und Mosaiken sowie eine umfangreiche numismatische Sammlung.<br>Die <strong>Diokletiansthermen<\/strong> bewahren in ihren antiken und sp\u00e4teren Strukturen Gr\u00e4ber, Sarkophage, Stelen, eine epigraphische Abteilung und eine Abteilung \u00fcber Vorgeschichte und italische V\u00f6lker.<br>Der <strong>Palazzo Altemps<\/strong> beherbergt bedeutende antike Skulpturen.<br>Die kleine <strong>Crypta Balbi<\/strong> zeigt vor allem arch\u00e4ologische Schichten Roms am Standort selbst.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Weitere Antikenmuseen in Rom<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><a id=\"marchesdetrajan\"><\/a>Die <strong>Trajansm\u00e4rkte<\/strong> umfassen ein Museum, das den kaiserlichen Foren gewidmet ist, in einem Teil der antiken Strukturen dieses Forums.<\/li>\n<li><a id=\"museenationaletrusque\"><\/a>Das <strong>Nationale Etruskische Museum der Villa Giulia<\/strong> ist ein sehr gro\u00dfes Museum, das der etrusk ischen Zivilisation gewidmet ist.<\/li>\n<li>Das <strong>Museum der R\u00f6mischen Zivilisation<\/strong> (<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">derzeit geschlossen<\/span>) ist der r\u00f6mischen Welt gewidmet und umfasst zahlreiche Nachbildungen von Geb\u00e4uden, Rom und Schlachten.<\/li>\n<li><a id=\"centralemontemartini\"><\/a>Die <strong>Centrale Montemartini<\/strong> ist ein erstaunliches Museum f\u00fcr r\u00f6mische Antiken, das in einem ehemaligen Kraftwerk untergebracht ist.<\/li>\n<li><a id=\"museedesmursderome\"><\/a>Das <strong>Museum der Mauern Roms<\/strong> in der Porta San Sebastiano und einem Teil der Hadriansmauer ist ein kleines Museum, das diesen Mauern gewidmet ist.<\/li>\n<li><a id=\"museeduhautmoyenage\"><\/a>Das <strong>Museum des Fr\u00fchmittelalters<\/strong> befindet sich nun im Mibac im
