Youth hangouts, neighborhoods, bars, and clubs<\/h3>\n

From aperitivo until 2am<\/h4>\n

Young Romans\u2014and not only the young\u2014gather around many squares in Rome. Among them, one of the most popular in the city center is Campo dei Fiori<\/em>. However, in recent years, it has unfortunately become more of a tourist attraction.
\nSome neighborhoods have many bars and pubs, generally open until 2am, such as Trastevere<\/strong>, especially the small bar San Callisto<\/em>, minimalistic but very youthful, near Santa Maria in Trastevere, or Freni e Frizioni<\/em>.
\nThere are many options for having a drink in the Navona<\/strong> area (such as the stylistic Caffe della Pace<\/em>, via della Pace<\/em>, Salotto 42<\/em>, and Bar del Fico<\/em>, Piazza del Fico<\/em>), but also in Rione Monti<\/strong> (around Piazza Madonna dei Monti<\/em>) near the Colosseum, or near the Pantheon<\/strong> like Club Derri\u00e8re<\/em> with its terrace and cocktails.<\/p>\n

Further from the center and less touristy, other areas are popular among young people and students: the San Lorenzo<\/strong> and Pigneto<\/strong> neighborhoods (see map below).
\nThe student area, San Lorenzo<\/strong>, is dotted with various bars and pubs, some of which offer live music. This area lies to the northeast, relatively far from the center but close to Termini station.<\/p>\n

Another neighborhood, Pigneto<\/strong>, young and popular, somewhat “roots<\/em>“, has many bars, night bars, venues, and small clubs. Here are some of the most appreciated spots: The Factory \u2013 an industrial-style bar hosting concerts, Yeah! Pigneto \u2013 an eclectic bar with music programming, ‘Na Cosetta \u2013 a cozy bar with live music and a loyal crowd.<\/p>\n

After 2am, nightclubs and late bars: Some are scattered around Piazza Navona<\/strong> (La Maison, La Cabala, Shari Vari<\/em> on Via di Torre Argentina) and near the Pantheon<\/strong>, but most are located in the Testaccio<\/strong> district, around the hill, as well as in the Pigneto<\/strong> area. \nAlso worth mentioning: (…)<\/em> near Pigneto, with a concert hall and a large, well-designed outdoor space; Angelo Mai<\/a><\/em> on Via delle Terme di Caracalla, which is similar in style but smaller and more popular; L’Asino che Vola<\/em>, near metro line A, is a nice indoor venue offering good live music and organic food.<\/p>\n
