You can easily reach the sea from Rome, for example with the regional train, in about 30-45 minutes.
If you have a car, the most beautiful coasts are south between Sperlonga<\/strong> and Gaeta<\/strong>, which is a bit far. The closest to Rome is Lido di Ostia<\/strong>, with its stretches of sand far from being the most attractive, but which have their interest.
Between the two, however, are beautiful beaches, such as the Caves of Nero<\/strong> in Anzio<\/strong>; the wild beach of Torre Astura<\/strong> where an ancient fort is surrounded by waters; the large stretches of sand and their dunes from Bufalara<\/strong> to Sabaudia<\/strong>; to the natural park of Circeo<\/strong> with at the foot of the beautiful promontory of Circeus the rocky coves of Batteria Punta Rossa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

To the north are also beautiful stretches of sand, such as in Santa Severa<\/strong> near Santa Marinella<\/strong>, at the foot of a beautiful castle, or the wild beach at Torre Flavia<\/strong> near Cerveteri.<\/p>\n

Whether to the north or to the south, there are large sand tongues, the least concrete being to the south where are also the most beautiful villages and remarkable sites.<\/p>\n\n\n
