Papa Re

Papa Re, located on Via della Lungaretta in Trastevere, Rome, is one of our favorite trattorias in the neighborhood.
It is a simple establishment offering Italian dishes such as spaghetti alla carbonara, saltimbocca alla romana, gnocchi or lasagna, and tiramisu for dessert.
The value for money is very good, and the service is generally professional.
Finding a trattoria in the tourist-filled Trastevere, which is crowded with restaurants, can often be uncertain. Here, you are usually not disappointed.
