Pizzeria Da Baffetto (at little mustache in English), located on Via del Governo Vecchio near Piazza Navona, is an institution in Rome, long recognized for its traditional Roman pizza, thin and crispy, wood-fired.
The pizzas are always tasty, even the simplest ones, including the “Pizza Da Baffetto” (tomato, mozzarella, mushrooms, egg, sausage, peppers, artichokes) and the more authentic “Margherita”.
The service is quick, sometimes very quick, especially when the queue to get a table grows. Reservations are not possible and waiting is common; it is advisable to arrive early or late, until around 10:30 p.m.
The atmosphere is lively and popular, a bit noisy inside.
 Prices are very reasonable.
