Caffe Sant’ Eustachio

cafe_sant_eustachio_romaCaffè Sant’Eustachio, located on the small square of the same name, is a true Roman institution just a stone’s throw from the Pantheon. Popular with both locals and tourists, it has been serving revitalizing coffee since 1938.
From a simple espresso to coffee granita or the creamy “gran caffè”, it’s hard to find better than at Caffè Sant’Eustachio.
The service is professional, and the drinks are prepared with expertise.
The coffee beans are carefully selected by the owners and are both organic and fair trade.
Be sure to tell the barista “senza zucchero” (no sugar) or “poco zuccherato” (lightly sweetened), as the coffee is usually served quite sweet by default.
The shop also sells coffee in various formats.
At certain times, the place can get quite crowded.
A typical Roman spot, and a must-visit for coffee lovers!
